The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce is seeking to hire an Events Co-ordinator to execute and deliver Chamber events.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  1. Proven Event Planning, Organizational and Co-ordination Skills
  2. Strong Sales & Marketing skills
  3. Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
  4. Proven ability to work with business clients and community partners
  5. Strong Listening Skills
  6. Strong Attention to detail
  7. Strong Computer & Social Media Skills
  8. Outgoing, friendly and personable individual
  9. Self-motivated and an energetic self-starter
  10. Ability to work as a Team player
  11. Strong Customer Services Skills

EDUCATION: College or University Diploma in Business Administration or Public Relations & Event Management or Equivalent.

SALARY: Base salary.  Employee benefit package after a probation period.
