Art Gallery of Algoma Summer Tours

The Art Gallery of Algoma offers a number of tours that are designed to engage out of town visitors and local community members alike.  Custom tours are available upon request with 48 hours prior notice.

Guided Tours Cost: Admission  Time: 1 - 2 hours
Take a guided and interactive tour of current exhibitions with a knowledgeable AGA educator.
Adults $7
Students $5 with valid I.D. and Seniors, age 55 and over.
AGA Members and children 12 and under are free.


Tour and Lunch Cost: $25 per person   Time: 2 - 3 hours
Spend an afternoon at the Art Gallery of Algoma and learn all about the Gallery in this informative and interactive tour of current exhibitions. A guided tour of Elsie Savoie Sculpture Park is included in this package from June – October. Following the tour, visitors are served a catered box lunch in the Gallery Café or outside on the picnic tables, weather permitting. *Special dietary restrictions can be accommodated upon request.


Northern Art Tour Cost: $50 per person  Time: 3 - 4 hours
Guests will explore the richness of the Algoma through art with a guided tour of the AGA's current exhibitions.  Enjoy a catered box lunch in the Gallery Café or outside on the picnic tables, weather permitting. *Special dietary restrictions can be accommodated upon request. Next guests will reflect on AGA exhibitions and the Algoma region with a hands-on art activity in the studio led by an arts professional in one of either photography, watercolour or acrylic media.  Please choose the desired instruction medium when you book the tour.

Art & Architecture Tour Cost: $12 per person 16 years and under Free.  Time: 1 hour
Enjoy an afternoon of art and architecture in this unique guided tour that takes you through the current gallery exhibitions, through the Elsie Savoie Sculpture Park and then on to explore prominent historical properties in downtown Sault Ste. Marie in a fun, interactive way. Tuesday afternoons at 4pm throughout the summer months.  Minimum 2 persons to book. Call for details.
